I was recently employed as an Instrument and Control/Commissioning technician for EPS Australia on Barrow Island on the Gorgon LNG Project. In this role I was responsible for the Installation and commissioning, oversight of other instrument techs, loop checking, function testing, job pack creation, permit acquisition, tube rectification and installation. With demonstrated experience reading, understanding and following P&ID's, data sheets, calibration reports, loop drawings, cause and effects and supplier manuals also. Pervious to this, I also have been responsible for the pre and post commissioning/pre start phases of several Gas Field Compression Stations as well as a major water treatment facility for Origin Energy at Reedy Creek. 

As a Supervisor/maintenance technician at the Olympic Dam copper mine for BHP Billiton as permanent backfill through Sudel Industries. There I was responsible for the supervision of several maintenance technicians, performing breakdown and preventative maintenance as required and calibration and fault finding of process instrumentation throughout the Smelter, Feed Prep, Acid Plant and Utilities, as well as any assets requiring workshop attention.

Prior to that I serviced Maersk drilling rigs off the North West Shelf of WA. Also, as an on road service technician had vast exposure to various other industries from pharmaceuticals and petro chemicals, gas compression, to water treatment and waste recovery. I have spent several years in heavy industry. Over the years, I have gained a range of skills and expertise in a vast area of industrial fields, skills that have steered me well in within my industry with a meticulous eye for detail and accuracy.
